Range of discounts for our readers from Live Breathe Hike
At the beginning of last year we featured an article on Tanya Perret and her mountain retreat business, Live Breathe Hike.
Offering a wide range of retreat packages from yoga and snowshoeing in the winter to yoga and hiking in the spring, Tanya seems to have found the perfect formula for a relaxing break in the mountains, allowing you to replenish your energy with a small group of like-minded people in the beautiful Alpine village of Bellevaux in France.
In 2018 she has now expanded her offering to include a new 3-day package with wine tasting in the summer plus an intensive month-long course for yoga enthusiasts to take their skills to a whole new level.
And what is more, she is offering knowitall.ch readers a range of incentives with discounts on all the courses she is currently running in France!

The online art magazine, Art Decision, has just officially been launched in Geneva.
Informing the English-speaking community about all things art-related in and around the Lake Geneva region, the new website covers everything from exhibitions, paintings and photography, through to sculpture and architecture.
It also includes interviews with artists and related specialists such as gallery owners, as well as a section devoted to ArtTravel which covers interesting events in cities much further afield, such as London, New York and Moscow.
Why launch a new art magazine?
The idea to create a new online art magazine in this region was born about 4 years ago when two art enthusiasts, Kristen Knupp and Irina Vernichenko, arrived in Geneva: Kristen from US via London, and Irina from Russia via Belgrade and Lugano. Kristen told knowitall.ch,
“We had difficulty finding out about what was going on in the Geneva art world. With educations in Art History and previous careers as art dealers, we were keen to discover and participate in the art world of Geneva. However, this lack of information gave us the impression of Geneva not having much cultural life.”

Swiss Press Photo 17 winner
Two of the most prestigious exhibitions for photo journalism have just opened at the Château de Prangins in Vaud.
Swiss Press Photo 17
From 10 November 2017 to 4 March 2018, the Swiss National Museum at the Château de Prangins will present the best Swiss press photographs of 2016 at Swiss Press Photo 17, an annual competition first launched in 1991 to recognize the outstanding work of this profession in Switzerland. Each of the award-winning photos selected in this year's competition shed light on worldwide current events, from migrant flows to climate change, as well as some less familiar topics, such as caring for elderly drug addicts and transporting cattle by boat on Lake Zurich.
First prize this year went to Zalmaï, a former migrant from Afghanistan, for his report on the evacuation of the “Calais jungle”. In his reportage for L’Hebdo he photographed migrants as they were expelled from the Calais refugee camp in October 2016, setting off on the next stage of their journey through Europe. In his winning photo, he captures a group of migrants taking a final photo to preserve a memory not just of despair, but also of solidarity.
