InsideGameSportscoach

Olympic Museum and Maison du Sport International, 26-27 January, 2017

An impressive line-up of internationally-acclaimed experts has been scheduled to speak at the Inside Game Coaching Conference, taking place in Lausanne on 26 and 27 January 2017.

Now in its second edition, Inside Game is a 2-day interactive conference and workshop for coaches of young athletes that focuses on the emotional and psychological aspects of coaching.  The goal of Inside Game is to help coaches be better leaders and role models for young athletes, by giving them the knowledge, expertise, understanding and know-how to motivate, interact, talk with, and positively influence young athletes in a way that will improve performance, confidence and motivation.

The event provides an opportunity for coaches of all levels and from all sports to learn, share and improve their coaching techniques and styles among a network of coaches from around the world.

Conference organizer, Cindy Burwell, told knowitall.ch, 'Coaches, whether coaching Olympic athletes or a grassroots soccer team, play an incredibly important role in the development of young people, and have a massive influence on athletes emotionally, both on and off the training ground or competition.  Yet there are few opportunities for coaches to get support, or participate in courses to develop professionally.  This course brings together experts in sport psychology, high performance coaching, physical literacy, team building, mindfulness, and other subjects, who have developed proven strategies and coaching techniques."
