Juraparc is a park with a 400m-long elevated observation deck, 3m above the ground. The back of the park is a natural cliff 10 to 20 meters high. You can see bears, wolves, bison, lynx, and specialty horses. Situated between Vallorbe and the Vallée de Joux, the park is dominated by the impressive Dent de Vaulion peak.
If you haven't been to Juraparc yet then this is the time. Lots of cute baby animals to see, amongst them are the adorable 3 bear cubs that were born in January!

When the good weather returns, the idea of boating on Lake Geneva suddenly becomes very appealing. Heading off down the lake on your personal motor boat can be a wonderful experience, but one generally only enjoyed by those who can afford to buy and maintain a boat – and be lucky enough to secure themselves a mooring.
Keen to open up sailing to a wider audience, boating enthusiasts, Richard Lopez, Florent Chevey and Severine Jacquemai, have come up with a unique idea of enabling clients to enjoy the lake without incurring the stress and fees associated with ownership, mooring and maintenance of a boat.
Set up in 2010, the Royal Leman Yacht Club works a bit like a holiday timeshare. When you become a member of the club, you immediately have access to a fleet of luxury boats that are constantly renewed to ensure clients experience the very latest models. Once you pay your membership fees – there are three levels depending on usage – there are no additional fees to pay – all expenses are handled by the Club.

An urban golf course has been created for the second year running in the center of Geneva! From 1st June until 16 September 2012, it will be possible to play this new version of a popular game along the banks of Lake Geneva. The nine-hole course extends over 4km and enables participants to rediscover the beauty of the harbour region, whilst practising an enjoyable and healthy activity.
Whilst traditional golf has long been considered an elite sport, urban golf (often called City Golf) opens up the sport to the wider public, and can be practised throughout parks, public walkways, and gardens. Played by 2 or more players, the aim of the game is to complete the 9 hole course with the minimum number of shots.
The Geneva course begins at the Parc des Bastions. Partcipants are invited to collect their golf clubs and balls from a special golf chalet, situated near the entrance on Rue Saint-Léger. There is no charge for hiring the equipment, which has been provided by the Service de la Jeunesse, with the support of various partners.
Special discount on Summer camps for knowitall.ch clients
If you’re interested in trying out a new activity either for yourself or your children, then the special discount recently offered by Versoix-based Atelier “Les Mains Habiles” to knowitall.ch clients may be just enough to tempt you in their direction!
Set up in 2007 by local artists Monique Robert-Tissot and Patricia Hurni, Atelier "Les Mains Habiles" provides small group lessons in pottery, mosaïcs, painting and crafts. Ideal for both children and adults, the lessons are very relaxed and are more family-focused than business-oriented. One client told knowitall.ch, “The atelier is 2 blocks away from Collège du Léman. This is very convenient for those of us who have children at CDL. I go there every Tuesday morning, and I must say I have enjoyed every class immensely.”
