Are you new to Geneva? If so, make sure to read on. At the initiative of the Théâtre de Carouge, four cultural entities have joined forces to introduce their creations and venues to new residents* of the canton of Geneva.
Thanks to a PASS'DÉCOUVERTE at the price of CHF 100.-, each person newly arrived in the canton can choose a show from the program of one or the other of the four structures.
For the initiators of this partnership, the aim is to allow newcomers* to the canton of Geneva to become acquainted with emblematic places in the cultural life, by offering a joint subscription. "Discovering our theaters through the pleasure of a performance is a nice way to enjoy the "++ amenities" of our beautiful region", they are delighted to say.
Presented for the first time in September 2022 at Victoria Hall Geneva, during the welcome day for new residents of the City of Geneva, the PASS'DÉCOUVERTE can be purchased at the Théâtre de Carouge box office or by phone.

La Malade Imaginaire Argan, a wealthy widower, takes medicine upon medicine, purgative after purgative, bleedings, leechings, enemas, and every other remedy under the sun to treat the indefinable, undiagnosable, incurable illness that occupies his every waking moment. His new wife, Béline, patiently awaits his demise so she may inherit his fortune. His daughter Angélique wants to marry her lover Cléante, much to the chagrin of Argan, who means to marry her to Thomas Diafoirus, a doctor... With so many competing interests, so many hidden agendas, it’s no wonder Argan has to play dead in order to learn the truth!

The names of all those submitting correct answers will be placed into the digital hat and the winner’s name drawn at random by Wednesday, 23 November 2022. The winner will be notified by email. No cash equivalent of prizes is permitted.
* A new resident is a person who was registered as arriving in the Canton of Geneva up to 1 year ago (1 year 6 months will be ok as well) and who has not already attended any of the following places: Théâtre de Carouge, Grand Théâtre de Genève, Théâtre Am Stram Gram, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande (OSR). If the person has already bought tickets to one of the theaters, and the theater has the name of the person, it won’t work.
