• Is your voice holding you back from being a more effective communicator?
• Would you like to have a voice that connects with people, and makes them want to listen to you and be influenced by you?

Contrary to what many believe, your voice is not something that cannot be changed. The voice you have today is only partially the result of your unique physiological setup. To a much larger extent, your voice is a product of the vocal habits that you have developed over the years.

In this playful interactive voice discovery workshop, we will uncover common vocal habits and practice techniques for a more dynamic and assertive voice.

You will:

• Gain a basic understanding of how the voice works
• Become aware of some of your own vocal habits that reduce your voice’s power, and learn what to do instead
• Try out techniques for energising your voice and getting a loud, rich sound
• Learn to use vocal variation to make your message sound interesting, convincing and easy to understand
• Practice being clear, concise, and assertive

This workshop is for anyone who has a voice and is curious to learn more about using it.
