Open Day on 22 September, 2012
Since it was created in 2010 by the Morges Tourist Office, in collaboration with the communes of Morges and Préverenges, "Le CityGolf Morges-Préverenges" has attracted all kinds of visitors to its course, ranging from engaged couples on their hen or stag nights, through to school parties of children. This year alone it has been visited by over 1,000 people, and to celebrate its success, the Tourist Office has decided to organize another of its popular Portes-Ouvertes (Open Day) on 22 September, 2012.
The course, which is half mini-golf, half swin-golf, is open to players of all ages and is a great way for families to discover the the streets, parks and quays of both Morges and Préverenges. At one moment golfers are able to practise their swing in front of the Chateau du Morges – at another they are able to pick up their ball in the Rue Traversière! The majority of the holes are situated along the lakeside.
If you haven’t yet tried out CityGolf or you just want to have another go, then this Open Day provides a wonderful opportunity to test your skills without incurring any costs. Clubs and balls will be available free of charge from the Tourist Office between 9h30 and 17h00. Anyone still out on the course after 17h00 can return their clubs to the Romantik Hôtel Mont-Blanc.
Alternatively, if you want to start the course form Préverenges, it is possible to collect your clubs from the Surfshop there between 12h00 and 17h00.
CityGolf Morges-Préverenges is open all year round, 7 days a week. Further information on the course, prices, opening hours and booking options are available on the website:
