Expo Beaulieu Lausanne, 19 - 22 April 2018
First announced on our site last year, the Lausanne Art Fair will shortly return to the region with another outstanding display of international contemporary art.
To celebrate this special occasion, knowitall.ch will once again offer tickets to the show, which will take place at the Expo Beaulieu between 19 and 22 April 2018.
More than 3000 pieces of work, 80 galleries and 504 artists represented
More than 3,000 pieces of work, including paintings, sculptures and photographs, will be displayed over the 6000m2 of floor space that has been allocated to the 504 artists displaying their work this year.
With 80 galleries from Europe and the rest of the world taking part in the fair, visitors can expect to see all the latest trends in contemporary art represented. So, whether you are looking for examples of expressionism, abstract art, crude art, the Cobra movement, naive art, kinetic art, Pop art, minimalism, new realism, free expression, graffiti, bad painting, or post graffiti, you can be sure to find something that will appeal to your artistic taste!
Visitors and collectors will be able to revel in works by established artists or set off on a journey of discovery of the creations of the rising young international community. All the works on display at the fair will be offered for sale.
Preview evening
The official fair preview will take place on Thursday 19 April from 18h. Each exhibitor will preview their work at their own stand, encouraging discussion amongst the spectators and allowing favorites to start being chosen. Jazz and swing will be played throughout the evening, which is open to all visitors. However, those without an invitation will need to pay Fr. 10.- for their ticket at the fair reception.
Twenty double tickets to be won!
Following the huge interest in tickets we had for last year’s competition, knowitall.ch will offer twice as many tickets for the second edition of the Lausanne Art Fair. To give yourself a chance of winning one of the 20 double tickets available to attend the show on one day of your choosing, just let us know how many artists will be displaying their work at the fair this year.
Only one entry per person and per email is allowed. The competition closes at midnight on Monday, 16 April 2018. The names of all those submitting correct answers will be placed into the digital hat and the winners' names drawn at random on Tuesday, 17 April 2018. The first names to be drawn will each receive a double ticket for fair. The winners will be notified by email and their names will be added to this article after the competition closes.
