See behind the scenes of the House of European Football and join in the celebrations.
A unique opportunity to visit the nerve center of European football and mingle with champions will take place on 4 October, 2014, when UEFA celebrates its 60th birthday by opening its doors to football fans from all over the region.
This free open day will be an opportunity to learn about European football’s governing body, with a chance to see the trophies at the House of European Football and visit the match command centre, where the tension is almost tangible on match nights. Visitors will also get to see a specially produced film: 60 years of UEFA.
The open day will be active as well as informative, with plenty of activities on offer at the adjoining Colovray sports centre. Workshops will be organised for footballers of all levels. From ball control and kick speed tests to ball juggling and penalty taking, visitors will be spoilt for choice. There will be plenty of prizes to win and opportunities for members of the public to rub shoulders with a number of big names in football. There will also be a chance to meet the UEFA Euro mascots from different EURO tournaments. Food and drink will be available at the Colovray center. In short: a day not to be missed, full of excitement and discovery!
UEFA is a non-profit organisation, comprising and representing the national football associations of Europe. It organises the biggest club competition in world football, the UEFA Champions League; it promotes football in a spirit of unity, solidarity, peace and fair play, without any discrimination as to politics, race, religion or gender or on any other grounds; and it redistributes nearly all of its income to its member associations and football clubs.
