Fun, educational, interactive children's books set though Swiss towns. The main character is Marco the Swiss Alpine Marmot. We were contacted by Clint Bauld, who has been working diligently to get the printed versions out. We just received news that the Marco Loves Switzerland Morges and Nyon books are printed and available!

What has been the inspiration?
Clint explains, "As an avid traveller and lover of history, I wanted to create books which would inspire and educate children to love exploring through the eyes of the lovable, Marco the Swiss Alpine Marmot.
"As a recently naturalised Swiss citizen, I wanted to support and give something back to the country I have now come to call home. I wanted to help show locals (and the world) some of the best places Switzerland has to offer families and children. I have been researching and developing this idea for well over a year."
What is the biggest obstacle you have had to overcome?
Myself, and the constant daily questions wondering if I am on the right path, the wrong path or. in fact, any path at all... I am 100% committed to making the project a success.
What are your plans for the future?
My plans are to continue building the project one location at a time. As our stories develop, I will introduce other lovable characters and Swiss athletes to each location. The next book to be released in early July will be Geneva, followed by Zurich. The plan is to have approximately 20 Swiss cities.
I also plan to find sponsorship from both communes and local companies to help fund the growth of the project.
What is your favorite part of the book and why?
I am proud of all that has been achieved thus far as we have launched children’s books for two different cities Morges and Nyon including story, travel, activity and colouring books.
But if I had to choose, I would say my favourite part of the books is the “Travel Book” concept. This unique, one-of-a-kind guide book allows families to visit the same places in each city as Marco, take photos and then glue these photos directly into the books.
With these books, families can create photo albums which will last a lifetime.
