What is La FARCE?
The association La FARCE is a free grocery store, based in the canton of Geneva, for HES-SO and UNIGE students. It offers free food distributions for a student public who claims the need for it, unconditionally and without financial justification. The objective is to act against precariousness and food waste, to create solidarity and promote social ties, with a view to sustainability.

How long?
Each grocery member receives a link to sign up for the time slots for the following month.
Make a food donation
La Farce welcomes your food donations. "We would be grateful if you would give preference to dry products and hygiene products: pasta, rice, pellati, lentils, quinoa, dried beans, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, etc. Donations can be brought directly to our office, rue Prévost-Martin 28, building A in the basement. You can drop them off on Wednesdays from 2 to 5 p.m. or by appointment by calling 078 210 52 17. These food donations will allow us to fill the food parcels distributed each week."
Make a financial donation
If you cannot or do not wish to volunteer, but still want to help us, you can make a donation to the association. The association will use these donations for logistics, the purchase of equipment or food when there is a shortage of food to fill the right number of parcels. Donations can be made by payment via the bank details below or by contacting the association directly.
How students benefit from it?
To become a member, all you have to do is pay an annual fee of 20 CHF. Once members, students can come the following week to pick up their bag of food. Food distributions are held every Thursday from 5 pm to 7 pm in building A of the HETS at 28, rue Prévost-Martin.
Distributions
La FARCE does food distributions every Thursday from 5 to 7 pm in the courtyard of the High School of Social Work, Rue Prévost-Martin 28 in Geneva.
Attention you have to register every week if you come to pick up a parcel. All members receive a registration email on Fridays. Following this mail, you have until Monday to register if you want to benefit from the distribution on Thursday of the same week. If you register on Tuesday, or later, you will be able to pick up your package only the following week.
