Passionate about all aspects of maternity, and knowledgeable about the world of perinatal care in Western Switzerland, Florence will help you take those first baby steps in the process of planning for the arrival of your baby and will even offer guidance and support in the months that follow if necessary.
Florence told knowitall.ch, "Married for 3 years, and a mom of two, I have always been curious about all aspects of pregnancy, even before falling pregnant myself. I spend a lot of my time perusing magazines, books on nursing and childcare, and scientific articles concerning pregnancy and babies."
Aware of her growing knowledge and experience, Florence’s friends began to turn to her to find out the latest press advice on maternity issues, and ask for her opinions on the products and services she had tried out. They found she had a lot of information on their rights at work, administrative formalities and other problems concerning soon-to-be parents. Soon afterwards, Florence started a blog entitled “A baby in Lausanne” (available on the BabySteps website) in order to share her knowledge with other mums in Switzerland and France.
Florence added, "The creation of BabySteps was the next logical step for me. Focusing solely on my new role as an advisor in all things related to pregnancy, I will be expanding my services in the future to offer maternity-related courses including pregnancy and a woman’s rights at work, health insurance for pregnant women and children, and the physiology of the pregnant woman etc."
When it comes to planning the arrival of a new baby, Florence finds that each person is unique, and every family is different. So in her first meeting with clients, she likes to explore the way they live, and discover their individual personality and expectations. For clients, it is an opportunity to learn in more detail the possible benefits of the guidance of a Baby Planner.
