Léman International AcademyThe recently opened Léman International Academy, based in Cologny near Geneva, is holding an information evening today.

The meeting, which will take place at the school on 8 February at 8pm, will provide prospective parents with detailed information about the different education programs on offer, and will give them the opportunity to meet teachers at the school.

The Léman International Academy is a new bilingual Christian elementary and middle school, which welcomes students from all ethnic and religious backgrounds.

Providing both French and English-speaking programs, the school follows both the Canton of Geneva and North American curriculums, allowing students to transfer easily into either a Swiss or international school system.

The school believes that much of a child's learning will come from exposure to the many different cultural heritages and languages of its students. Its mission is to inspire a passion for learning, encourage emotional and intellectual vitality, and empower students to grow with confidence and courage to contribute to the global community.

A “family-size” school with a supportive learning environment, Léman International Academy ensures that Christian values form an integral part of its students' education.  Children are encouraged to develop values such as respect, generosity, honesty, justice, forgiveness and the acceptance of all regardless of differences. The school sees the cultivation of citizenship, moral character, and ethical behavior as an essential part of their program.
