ASC International House, an affiliate of the International House World Organisation, which has a network of 155 language schools in over 53 countries, has announced that it will offer FREE French lessons in Geneva this summer!
Incredible as this offer sounds, it really is true! The free lessons are being provided through the oganization’s popular teacher training program, which leads to the internationally recognized CEFLE certification for language teachers. So participants on the French language course can expect the highest level of instruction from trainee teachers working towards one of the top language teaching qualifications in the world.
There are just a few spaces left in each of the language courses being offered so you are encouraged to sign up now to avoid disappointment. The next course dates are:
- Beginner level
30 June to 11 July 2014, Monday to Friday 14h00 – 16h00 - Intermediate level
14 July to 25 July 2014, Monday to Friday 14h00 – 16h00
A deposit of Fr. 100.- is required when enrolling, but this will be refunded in full at the end of the course to all those who participate for at least 80% of the time. ASC sees the offer of free places as an investment in the training of new teachers but requires a high level of student participation to ensure that the scheme is beneficial to everyone involved.
If you aren’t lucky enough to get a place on one of their free courses, ASC also has a summer promotion, where students can pay just Fr. 300.-/ week for intensive (daily) courses at all levels, starting every Monday throughout the school holidays. Naturally, these courses will be run by fully-trained French teachers.
