Would you like to discover an idyllic and typical Switzerland? Experience them at the Kaeserberg on a scale of 1:87. You are transported back to an autumn day in the 90s, it is 11:00 a.m., the weather is fine and you are somewhere in Switzerland. The journey can begin!
- 2'045 metres of track and around 100 trains running on one day of the visit (out of a total of 160 available trains)
- Discover which railway equipment was used in Switzerland in the 90s
- Our specialists will be happy to answer your questions
- A didactic model
- A simulator for driving a real locomotive (on reservation)
The visit to the Kaeserberg begins with a film that tells the story of the realisation of a dream and presents the stages of the museum's 17th anniversary. After the film, the visitors are invited to explore the main station of the model railway, and then to view the landscape of the model railway one floor up.
The visitor will be amazed by the level and degree of perfection offered and the time spent on the model train will not leave him time to discover this extraordinary fresco. The total amazement he will feel is accompanied only by the curiosity to discover the countless facets of this "animated painting", whose thousand details have all been treated with special care.
