To celebrate the 20th anniversary of their AOP in style, the producers of Vacherin Mont-d'Or AOP are offering three exceptional outings this autumn: the "Train du Vacherin Mont-d'Or AOP".
During the journey, you'll admire the view of Lake Geneva, the Jura mountains and the vineyards. Enjoy an exclusive gourmet menu, specially created for this event, featuring this emblematic dish. The menu is concocted by Les Artisans Cuisiniers in Bière and its Chef Stéphane Brioschi.

Vacherin Mont-d'Or AOP is a soft cheese made from thermized milk. Production is seasonal, running from August 15 to March 31. Sales run from September to April. To make this cheese, the specifications for Vacherin Mont-d'Or AOP (Protected Designation of Origin) must be respected.
Your timetable
You'll board the retro train at Morges station at 18h50, using vintage vehicles. Departure is at 19h14 sharp, and the journey will take you to Bière, with stops at Chigny, Yens, Apples and Ballens.
You'll arrive in Bière at 21h40, where you'll have time to finish your chat and coffee, and chat with the artisans on hand! Before catching the regular train, which leaves Bière at 22h19.
Your return to Morges is scheduled for 22h49.
