Medicine is an art, traditionally closely associated with other arts such as painting, sculpture and music. Many doctors find a balance with their profession in their artistic work, but few have the opportunity to show their work to a wider public.

This is why the association "Kunstausstellung der Schweizer Ärzte / Salon des Médecins Suisses" was founded in 1948, and organizes an exhibition at least once a year.
