Jazz on the Water embodies a new musical project without borders: to write a story with young musicians from the border regions and to bring together the music schools of the departments of Ain and Haute-Savoie with the schools of the cantons of Valais, Vaud and Geneva.

60 musicians and choir members from different music schools of the Lake Geneva area propose an unprecedented jazz work. In its early days, jazz music was a popular music made for entertainment and to give free rein to the creativity of the artists who practiced it. Making it accessible to all, whether musicians or spectators, is the logical continuation of its appearance!
