13h: Arrival of the herd in the village
There are traditions that endure: the Désalpe, which closes the season on the mountain pasture, is an opportunity to gather and honor the herdsmen. The procession that leaves from Les Guedères covers a dozen kilometers before crossing the village to arrive at Grand-Pré. COVID certificate required from 16 years old to access the food court - no test on site. Musical entertainment, bell ringers, alphorn, sale of regional products, food/canteen (alpine macaroni, sausages/hot dogs, etc.).
