ABOUT THE COURSE
The course provides a unique learning experience to explore how Data is applied in the real-world using the subject of endangered animals. The course focuses on the practical application of Data Science to show girls the purpose of analysing the data as a powerful tool to protect Life on Land.
Big Data is the future and we want to make sure that girls' experience with Data Science is interesting and engaging. During the course, students will analyse the latest available data on the endangered animals to build a presentation with recommendation and tell a compelling story.
In this course, girls will learn how to:
- Extract useful information from reliable sources
- Analyse and transform data into a visual story
- Build the presentation using the interactive presentation software - Prezi
COURSE CONTENT
DAY 1: Introduction to Storytelling and Data Analysis
DAY 2: Data Analysis and Data Visualisation
DAY 3: Introduction to most advances interactive presentation software - Prezi.

Prerequisite: Each participant should have an access to a computer with fully functional camera and microphone and; with a modern browser like Chrome or Safari.
