Limited to the Village Suisse and the Ferris wheel area, the traditional festivities of the Fêtes de Genève are now just a souvenir.

Good news, the big pyrotechnic firework display will not be missed this year. Thanks to private donations, the display will illuminate the lakefront on the occasion of an explosive evening, with the jet d'eau in pole position in this light and sound show. The show will last 45 minutes and is free to all.

There are many places down the lake or up top of the Salève that are suitable for watching as well.
