The entrance to the festival is free, no need for tickets but just a good mood! The Festichoc offers several animations, most of which are free throughout the weekend, for young and old alike:
Permanent Animations
The Artisans ' Lounge
Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00, Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00, free entrance.
Under 3 tents with a total surface area of more than 2 ' 100 m2, 34 craftsmen from all over Switzerland are present to present their chocolate specialties and their novelties. Demonstrations, tastings and on-site sale. Discover the list of artisans chocolatiers present on the tab "Chocolatiers" with the presence of cocoa producers from Peru to the stand Choba Choba, chocolate Fountains at the Pascoët and Bailey stands, lactose-free chocolate at the stand Sisao and much more to discover on the spot.
Atelier de fabrication Guillaume bichet
Espace Duchenne, Lower Floor, Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00, Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00.
Workshop for the production of rabbits and chocolate hens for children proposed by Guillaume Bichet. Registration on site, duration of workshop approximately 20 minutes, price CHF 8.-.
Competition and exhibition of chocolate sculptures

Competition and exhibition of chocolate sculptures made by apprentice pastry-confectioners of Geneva.
Sunday at the Salle Communale (Espace Duchenne), 3.30 pm, award ceremony and raffle of a public ballot in order to win a 7 nights cruise for 2 people in the Mediterranean or northern Europe. This award is offered by Versoix Voyages and MSC cruises.
The Favarger Treasure Hunt
Information booth at the Artisans ' fair, Saturday from 11:00 and Sunday from 10:00, free animation.
For children up to 12 years old, answer questions about Festichoc and chocolate thanks to the clues scattered on the Festichoc site and win a chocolate gift offered by Favarger. Participation until the stock of gifts is exhausted...
Creative Space Guillaume Bichet & Caran of Ache
Artisans ' Lounge, Saturday from 13:00 to 18:00, Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00, free animation.
Thanks to the Guillaume Bichet chocolate plates and the pencils of the House Caran ache, the children come to personalize their chocolate tablets with multicoloured pencils and then leave with their unique creations.
Your Chocolate Portrait!
Artisans ' Lounge, Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00, Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00, free animation.
A professional plastic artist draws on the bright (about 7 min. per person) Your portrait in a few strokes of pencil and... of chocolate Squares! The work with chocolate scents will then be offered to you.
Educational Course on Chocolate
Espace Duchenne, communal Hall (upper floor), Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00, Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00, free animation.
This animation will let you discover the origins of chocolate as well as the process of making this fabulous product. In collaboration with Felchlin, presentations on the processing of the bean to the final product will be made on Saturdays at 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00 as well as on Sundays at 12:00 and 14:00. Free access during 2 days with information panels, bean tasting and film (envie 7 minutes).
The Lapichoc Terrier
Artisans ' Lounge, Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00, Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00, free animation.
Our mascot Lapichoc will set up his burrow in the middle of the artisans ' lounge in a magical and exotic world. Come visit him and take souvenir photos throughout the weekend.
Creating a giant chocolate sculpture
Artisans ' Lounge, Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00, Sunday from 09:00 to 14:00, free animation.
Roger Rohr, famous chocolatier Carouge, aided by apprentices pastry-chocolatiers of the canton, will create before the public and throughout the weekend a giant sculpture of more than 2M50. This animation will allow festival-goers to discover the methods of making a chocolate art work with impressive dimensions.
Chocotrains
2 Stops (Festichoc and La Fabrique Favarger), continuous Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00, Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00, free animation.
Two small tourist trains connect the artisans ' Salon and the Favarger factory throughout the weekend. A nice little ballad open to all.
Visit of the Favarger factory
Rue des Moulins (Stop du Chocotrain), Saturday from 10:00 to 17:00, Sunday from 09:00 to 16:00.
Continuous visit of the famous manufacture organized by Favarger SA, (Information on favarger.com). Admission fee, Adult CHF 10.-, child free up to 12 years.
Occasional Animations
"FrontCooking " by Anita Lalubie
Espace Duchenne, Lower Floor, Saturday at 11:30 and 16:00, Sunday at 1.30 pm, free animation.
Anita la FAD, well known to the public thanks to the show on the RTS "Al Dente" will cook you and present chocolate recipes, cooked in front of you and for you! Three one and a half hour sessions to enjoy without moderation.
Children's chocolate tale "Késaco cacao "
Espace Duchenne, communal Hall (upper floor), Saturday at 11:00 and 15:00, Sunday at 10.30 am, free animation.
Caroline Cortes, storytellers, will tell you two parallel stories about the life of Seraphim, the African child who works in a cocoa plantation to pay for his pens and notebooks, and Zoe, a European girl who tests all the creations of His Papa chocolatier. Tale lasting about 40 minutes.
The Egg hunt
Close to the Artisans ' Lounge, Sunday at 11:30, free animation.
The egg hunt is organized within the perimeter of the festival. Open to all children up to 12 years old with distribution of a chocolate gift to each participant..
Special Tasting
Artisans ' Lounge, Sunday at 15:00, free animation.
The giant chocolate sculpture of this 15th edition, prepared by chocolates Rohr in Carouge, will be offered to the public for tasting on Sunday 7 April at 15:00. See you in the center of the artisans ' lounge.
