PORTAL TO THE PAST AN IMMERSIVE VIRTUAL REALITY EXPERIENCE IN PULLY'S HISTORY 21.09 - 29.06.2025

The Portal to the Past exhibition offers a unique virtual reality experience featuring major archaeological discoveries in the town of Pully over three historical periods.

Choose your character and travel back in time, meeting Roman slaves and their banker masters, a bereaved prehistoric community and a Burgundian family in search of a new land. Each period brings to life original situations, testifying to the diversity of lifestyles of successive societies on the Swiss Plateau.

As a complement to this exclusive experience, the ArchéoLab invites you to go behind the scenes of digital creation by discovering the real objects that inspired the Portal to the Past project. Witnesses to 6,000 years of history, these treasures carry with them the richness of a shared heritage and offer a glimpse into the daily lives of ancient societies.

Public opening on Museum Night, September 21, 2024. On this day, the exhibition will be open to the public by special arrangement, subject to on-site registration (places are limited) and presentation of the Nuit des musées ticket.

The visit lasts 60 minutes, and is only available on registration via our ONLINE TICKET SERVICE.

The virtual reality experience is accessible from age 8. A game trail is available for younger children.
