BIOPARC Bioparc Genève (formerly Parc Challandes) is the only place in the canton where you can observe more than 250 animals of around 85 different species, both European and exotic, up close and personal, and help to preserve them. Bioparc Genève works for biodiversity through 4 key missions: conservation, research, environmental awareness and education, and zootherapy. Since November 2023, Janus, whom you may have met at the Geneva Museum, has become the Bioparc's new mascot! The 2-headed turtle was born to the Muséum d'histoire naturelle de la Ville de Genève in 1998. He is now a resident of the Bioparc in Bellevue. If you haven't already visited, now is a good time to go. Open daily. Route de Valavran 33 HORAIRES D'OUVERTURE |
