A FUN, EDUCATIONAL AND FASCINATING JOURNEY THAT TURNS VISITORS OF ALL AGES INTO ADVENTURERS!

From Tyrannosaurus to Triceratops, 50 animated specimens come to life at Palexpo. Deployed over 4,500 m2, these impressive life-size animals move and roar to the great delight of children.

These animatronic creations feature on a range of interactive sets over a total surface area of 4,500 m2. The realistic technology enables the giant creatures to move and roar. Some forty different species are being presented to the public, including Triceratops, Brachiosaurus and the famous Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Principally intended for children, the exhibition is also of genuine educational merit. The journey begins with explanations about the origins of life and the various geological periods during which species evolved. A replica of a fossilised dinosaur covers questions about their disappearance and the processes for conserving their remains.

Throughout the journey, a short text presents each species and provides information about their weight, size, period during which they lived, diet and facts unique to the species. During the exhibition a film depicts the evolution of prehistoric animals reconstructed in computer-generated images. A free smartphone app also enables each visitor to experience the exhibition at their own pace and to learn more about these fascinating creatures through an audioguide and practical information.

After visiting the exhibition, our smaller visitors can enjoy a number of fun activities: have a photo taken of them hiding in a dinosaur egg, climb on to a moving dinosaur or participate in unforgettable routines with the Dino Dance programme.

In addition to these activities, the exhibition also hosts a virtual reality experience (not included in the ticket price) enabling young adventurers to simulate a flight on the back of a dinosaur and observe the ecosystem in which these giants evolved.

The exhibition is open every day during the school holidays, i.e. from 26 December to 9 January, 12 to 27 February and 14 to 22 April 2022.
