The 6th Rallye du Chocolat© de Genève is facing the Covidien tsunami and is bringing itself up to date with a new recipe that mixes tradition and digital. No question of depriving ourselves of chocolate in these gloomy times, on the contrary!

For this special edition, the Rallye du Chocolat© becomes the e-Rallye du Chocolat©, a sharp appointment for all chocolate-loving gourmets.

Originally created to celebrate World Cocoa and Chocolate Day, the Rallye raises awareness of sustainable development in the cocoa and chocolate sector.

Here in Geneva, the meeting with the 10 chocolate makers participating in the Rally is virtual, but the tasting of the chocolate creations is real and concrete.

On this occasion, the artisans compete with each other in imagination on the theme of "Grué and Autumn Inspirations".

Throughout the day, the public is invited to walk around the city near the chocolate factories along two routes, to collect the clues of the mystery phrase and participate in the contest.

Finally, as in previous years, a draw among the public will decide the winners who will receive chocolate gifts and the coveted "ChoConnaisseur" diploma.

The public will choose their favourite chocolate makers, while a jury of experts will award the Jury Prize to the best chocolate maker of the e-Rallye du Chocolat©.
