MUSEUM: CHEMINS DE FER DU KAESERBERG
Saturday 20 June 2020

kaeserbergtrain

https://www.kaeserberg.ch/fr/

The visit to the Kaeserberg begins with a movie (departures every 30 minutes between 10am and 3:30pm). It tells the story of the realization of a childhood dream and shows the most important stages of the 17-year construction of the installation. After the film, visitors are invited to discover a two-level car park with 160 trains and a "sound-light" sequence, and then to go up one floor to contemplate the network.

  • A visit to the Kaeserberg takes about 1h30 on average.
  • Once in the museum, the visitor can stay as long as he wishes.
  • The Kaeserberg close at 5pm.
  • The visit scenario envisages an alternation of day and night in an imaginary Switzerland of the 90s.
  • Every half hour it gets dark for a full 6 minutes to simulate night-time.
