Due to some very generous donations we have been able to sponsor a program that is feeding 200 people a day.

VOLUNTEER DRIVERS NEEDED

We finished our first week administering a program where the the Salvation Army provides a kitchen in one of their hotels in the old town, Chef Walter El Nagar (formally of the 5th Day restaurant) has found several unemployed chefs in town to prepare meals with donations (or low-cost) donations from local producers, with STC volunteers, who prepare take-away lunches. which then have STC volunteers distribute to 4 different distributions enters in town. This program planned to be in effect all thru the Month of May.

We could use some drivers to deliver the lunches each day to 3-4 different locations. If you might be willing to help.
The Salvation Army kitchen is at:
Hôtel Bel’Espérance, Rue de la Vallée 1, 1204 Genève
Just below the big square and Police station in the old town. Next to Collège Calvin

ALSO

We also are trying to honour the staff at HUG... and again we are looking for a big turnout of thank-you art, cards, and appreciation for what they are doing.

We have a team of people at home making 200 sandwiches a day.. delivering them to the Soup kitchen for distribution.  

We have gift baskets being sent to the care givers at Clair Bois centre for handicapped kids, etc.
