In 2019, the Montreux Comedy Festival celebrates its 30th anniversary! For the occasion, there are no longer 6 but 10 days of festivities awaiting the public, from Thursday 28 November to Saturday 7 December at 2M2C. Nearly 80 artists will be in Montreux to present 12 performances of 7 new Galas.

30 years is something to celebrate! For the occasion, Montreux Comedy is playing the big game and doubling its scale. For ten days, the cream of the crop of young humor bosses and web stars will be in Montreux to celebrate this anniversary. The 7 Galas will be presented by Artus, Kev Adams, Alex Vizorek, as well as three outstanding duets: Alban Ivanov and Djimo, Thomas Wiesel and Marina Rollman and Sebastian Marx and Paul Taylor. They will be accompanied by Arnaud Tsamere, Verino, Eric Antoine, Manu Payet, Guillaume Bats, Pablo Mira, Shirley Souagnon, Doully, Yann Marguet, Charles Nouveau and many others!

Opened in January, the 30th carbide ticket office is at full capacity with more than 40% of tickets already sold. But don't worry, there are still places left for all the Galas.

10 days, 7 Galas, 12 performances
Thursday 28 and Friday 29 November at 8.30 pm, the opening gala "Let the party begin" will be presented by Artus. For the occasion, he will be joined by Arnaud Tsamere, Alex Ramires, Verino and Gérémy Crédeville. There will be everything to celebrate: cotillion, music, food and drink (surely) and fun (a lot!). When Artus is asked to have fun, you shouldn't force him much. And it can go to hell. This is a good way to start the festivities.

Friday 30 November (6pm and 9pm) and Sunday 1 December (3pm) Marina Rollman and Thomas Wiesel will host the "Gala Stand up". The first one having a brilliant career in Paris, the other only reluctantly leaving her beloved Lausanne, they no longer see each other as much as they did at the beginning. To remedy this, they are meeting again on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Montreux Comedy for 3 exceptional performances, surrounded by the finest French-speaking stand-up: Shirley Souagnon, Aymeric Lompret, Julien Lacroix, Mariana Mazza, Tristan Lopin and Remi Boyes.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of its Youtube channel, Montreux Comedy is offering its fans a new show on Sunday, December 1st at 6pm: the "Gala 1 Million". Like a million subscribers, if the algorithms are true, and certainly like a million laughs. Made up of artists from the stand up scene or who have exploded on the Internet, this exceptional and surprising gala will be presented by one of the channel's leading artists. The sooner the million-subscriber mark is exceeded, the sooner the content will be unveiled. At your clicks!

On Monday 2 and Tuesday 3 December at 8.30 pm, Kev Adams will take advantage of his very first visit to the Festival to present the "Montreux celebrates its 30th anniversary" Gala. For the occasion, he organized a small party and invited Eric Antoine, Yann Marguet, Tom Villa, La Bajon, Jérémy Demay, Les Bodin's and many others.

On Thursday, December 5 at 8:30 pm, Alex Vizorek promises a "So chic!" Gala, 100% above the belt! The most elegant comedian of his generation promises a gala where the finesse of the jokes will rival the relevance of the right words; the first comedy show that really doesn't get out of hand. At least, he will try... At his side: Manu Payet, Pablo Mira, Constance, Elodie Poux, Monsieur Fraize, Philippe-Audrey Larrue-St-Jacques or Frédéric Fromet.

Friday, December 6 at 8:30 p.m., makes way for the now traditional "International Gala in english", presented by Paul Taylor and Sebastian Marx. An evening with an international line up, but also some local artists, all 100% in English. Among them, the South African Conrad Koch or the Swiss Thomas Wiesel and Charles Nouveau.

And to close the Festival in style, on Saturday, December 7 at 6pm and 9pm, Alban Ivanov and Djimo will host the "Papel Gala". Eight thieves will take hostages during the closing gala, while a crime genius will manipulate the police to carry out his plan. Any resemblance to a successful Spanish series would be purely coincidental. In the spotlight this evening: Mehdi Bousaidan, Doully, Lenny M'Bunga, Redouane Bougheraba or Ahmed Sparrow.
