Steam Train Festival from Blonay. What a lovely way to spend the day. All aboard for an unforgettable ride on a 125 year-old steam train! The weekend of Pentecost is the traditional rendezvous for 30 years for all lovers of steam and nostalgia rail. Check out the 5 pressure steam locomotives departing from Vevey, with a predominantly steam-traction schedule, with return at the end of the day with an electric traction engine. 

SATURDAY 8 JUNE MORNING: QUADRUPLE TRACTION STEAM FROM BLONAY
Sunday 9 and Monday 10 June:
– Double steam traction departing from Vevey;
– electric train "Bernina" with locomotive BB 81 from Blonay to Vevey in the late afternoon.

Saturday, June 8, a journey by steam train through the Romandie to join the Blonay-Chamby.

On the occasion of the Swiss steam Festival, the Association 141R568 and the railway-Musée Blonay-Chamby unite their efforts to offer you a unique excursion to all steam.

A special steam train led by the powerful French locomotive 141R568, a monster of 187 tons built in 1945, is put into circulation from Vallorbe, passing through Morges and Geneva, will arrive in Vevey in the early afternoon. In addition to the historic convoy trip, participants will enjoy a gourmet meal served on board.

From Vevey, the voyage will continue in double steam traction to Blonay, Chamby and Chaulin-Musée, a veritable hub of the Festival.
The return to Vallorbe is planned in the early evening.
