EU Business School (EU), in collaboration with the Geneva Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CGIG), is proud to host its annual leadership seminar at its Geneva campus from February 28 to March 2. Under the title LEADERSHIP X+ – THE GAINS OF TRUST, this year’s program focuses on how to establish trust across all environments.

The seminar will be divided into three distinct areas: advocacy, compliance and morality. Through presentations and discus- sion, participants will explore the complexity of achieving guideline adherence and the need for good leadership, as well as the role actors play in the application and development of regulations. Ethical matters will also be discussed. At the end of the seminar, participants will have gained a deeper understanding of what is needed to establish an institution that inspires confidence, and the leadership skills required.

Invited speakers include leading figures from the worlds of business, government and international organizations, among them John Moorhead, president of Drawdown; Markus Melching, chairman at Andrion; and Aleksandr Lazarenko, head of R&D at Group-IB. This is a world where the fundamentals of climate, finance, innovation and individuality are at stake. Using real-life cases to Illustrate the challenges faced, particular attention will be paid to new banking UX, branding, innovation, trading, blockchain and cybersecurity, to relate uncertainty to trust.

The final session of the seminar will be practical. Participants will take part in a simulation game and will apply what they have learned during the three-day seminar using differential thinking to create a trusted environment. In addition, participants will need to explore whether theoretical learning matches reality and to consider a plethora of external factors.

“We are pleased to continue our partnership with the Geneva Chamber of Commerce and Industry and to offer our students and guests the opportunity to further explore how organizations gain trust”, stated Mr. Luc Craen, managing director of EU Business School Switzerland. “During this exciting three-day seminar, we will link topics like climate management, branding, trading and new banking UX to establish how leadership can bring trust through innovation. I am particularly looking forward to the session on cybersecurity, an area in which Geneva is planning to play an important role in governance”, he added.

After completing the seminar, all participants will receive a co-signed certificate in leadership from EU Business School and CCIG.
