Wabi-Sabi – a Japanese Philosophy

Come and learn about the Japanese Philosophy of Wabi-Sabi. There are many aspects to Wabi-Sabi but it is broadly about appreciating the beauty of imperfection and accepting this into your life. Could this be helpful?

In ConsciousCafe we enjoy conversation about life in a social, friendly way. We share our thoughts in small groups at the café tables whilst having drinks and snacks. Having thought-provoking conversations, even in a light-hearted way, typically creates enjoyable and meaningful connections with others.

Conversation is usually in English but if a table finds itself mostly francophone then they chat in French - all are welcome. Come and meet some other people who are curious about life and our journey through it.

We meet from 18.30H until 20H at The MLC Librairie-Café, 98 Rue de Carouge, 1205 Genève on the 12 /18 tramline, the Augustins stop, next to Les Vieux Grenadiers Restaurant. There are nearby car parks e.g. beneath the CoOp. The café area is under renovation but, inside, the café is cosy and friendly. All drinks are 5chff and we ask for a 5chff contribution to the wider costs of ConsciousCafe.org if possible. There will be someone to welcome you from 18.15H. See you there!
