THE "BÉNICHON" OF CHÂTEL-ST-DENIS IS A TRADITIONAL POPULAR AND GASTRONOMICAL FESTIVAL THAT COMMEMORATES THE END OF THE HARVEST, THE DESCENT OF THE COWS TO THEIR WINTER PASTURES AND THE BEGIN OF THE WINTER TIME.

21:00: Opening of the "Grizzly" Bar (under the cinema) and its "Grand'Ours"

Saturday
09:00-16:00: Traditionnal Market
From 21:00: Opening of the "Grizzly" Bar and its "Grand'Ours"

Sunday
11:00: Welcome and dance of the town councillors with the band from Bulle
From 12:00: Bénichon menu, only with booking

15:00: Great Procession - with cows, floats contests, alpshorn bands, etc ...
Entrance: CHF 10.-
