The traditional cart races are back on the Bénichon weekend!

The races take place on Saturday evening and the second round on Sunday afternoon during the traditional Bénichon festival in Charmey.

Saturday the races start at 9pm | Sunday the races start at 3pm with prize giving at 7pm.

To begin with there are the cart races. This part is the most sportive one where the runners have to run a certain number of times and as fast as possible.

Then follows the ball of decorative carts that will be noted by a jury (there are several prizes: humorous, artistic, charm, costume, concord, jury and the public who can vote).

Dès 12h00 Menu traditionnel de la Bénichon sous la cantine
Jambon, lard, saucisson, gratin & haricots, meringues & crème double avec café
Dès 15h00 Ambiance folklorique
Dès 21h00, première manche de la Course de charrettes
Dès 22h30, ambiance avec Dj Jokkym'x

Dimanche 9 octobre
Dès 15h00, seconde manche de la Course des charrettes
Dès 16h30, animation sous la cantine
Dès 19h00, remise des prix de la Course des charrettes.
