One-week SAT Bootcamp

The Bootcamp features 30+ hours of intensive classroom-based instruction by one of our dynamic SAT tutors to a small group of students. The Bootcamp serves as both a crash course introduction to the SAT for new students and a useful refresher course for students who have been preparing for the SAT for some time.

It is common for international students to start with significantly lower SAT scores than American students of the same age and this is often discouraging. From the outset we focus on creating an atmosphere where it is safe for students to make mistakes and where they are encouraged to adopt new ways of thinking. Mastery of the SAT will only come through adopting specific strategies and techniques that will be quite alien to them at first. The Bootcamp is designed not only to prepare students for the SAT but also to challenge them to develop as critical thinkers.
