Ecolint, or more formally known as the International School of Geneva, LGB Campus, is turning 100 years-old this year!
The annual Ecolint LGB Kermesse is the perfect place to spend the day with your family and enjoy food and drink from around 30 nations while children are busy with rides, inflatables, games and even an accrobranche in our forest. The food booths are held by parents from the school. Not only will you discover new flavors and specialties, but you can also join our football or basketball tournament as a family or team of friends or enjoy the live shows put on by our amazing students!
Whether you are a former student, a parent with children attending the campus, are interested in trying new foods, or just want to enjoy an outdoor festival then make sure to come to the Kermesse on Saturday, 4 May 2024 from 10h-16h. It is open to the public.

This week is the grand opening of the Geneva Food Court in Petit-Lancy, GE. The celebration week is from 29 February through 2 March 2024. The space has an industrial vibe and can also be rented out for private parties.

What could be better than a family outing to a restaurant on Saturday lunchtime? To make sure everyone has a good time, even the youngest, My Sparkly Party will be on hand to run workshops for the kids, including face painting, glitter tattoos and a balloon sculpture stand.
The alcohol-free movement has grown massively in the UK/US and Australia since 2015 when the alcohol-free Seedlip brand first launched. As with all trendy foods/drinks, it takes a few years to properly hit the Swiss shelves. This is where two friends, Rebecca and Katie, created their own brand: Bel Nada. We caught up with Katie to find out more.
Katie told us, "Rebecca and I were desperate to find products in Switzerland that spoke to us. We've been friends since we both moved here with our expat families aged 7, and now after 18 months of product development on the side of our regular jobs, we've launched and gone full-time to Bel Nada. Our products are entirely designed and bottled in Switzerland, with flavours inspired by the Swiss Alps and European aperitif culture. We use low-impact production techniques (careful water management, fully recyclable) but our main focus is on delivering excellent flavours with interesting botanicals. Bel Nada currently offers two products: a gin alternative Le Botanique that has an alpine twist, and a spritz alternative L'Aperitivo that offers a floral twist on a classic grapefruit bitter."

Bring your picnic basket and blanket and sprawl out on the lawn. There is a playground in part sun/part shade and a wading pool equipped with toilets and changing rooms. Visit the mini-zoo while you are there. Restaurants are nearby if you need an ice-cream!

Refugee Food is a global project run by an association, which aims to raise awareness of the situation of refugees, accelerate the professional integration of refugees in the catering industry, and work towards tasty, fair and sustainable food for all. Initially a culinary festival born in 2016, the project has broadly diversified to become a global project responding to the various issues of reception and integration in France and Geneva.
Nearly a hundred establishments, from Michelin-starred restaurants to neighborhood canteens, are opening their stoves to refugee cooks for unique culinary collaborations. The aim of this culinary and solidarity event is to change the way we look at refugees by promoting their culinary heritage, to speed up their integration into the catering industry, and to mobilize civil society around the table!
