Enter our competition to win a double ticket to see Goldilocks and the Three Bears

Bears like honey, right? So what happens at the Teddy Bears’ Picnic when the wicked Queen Bee gives the bears “bad honey”? Oh no, the bears turn into zombies!  Who will save the bears? What happens when good confronts evil?

You can find out the answer to these questions, and many more, when you watch Goldilocks and the Three Bears at this year's pantomime, being produced once again for the English-speaking community by the Geneva Amateur Operatic Society (GAOS).

Staged at the Collège de Saussure in Geneva, Goldilocks and the Three Bears will be performed over two weekends this season: Friday 29 November to Sunday 1 December, and Friday 6 December – Sunday 8 December, with 2 performances on each of the Saturdays and on the first Sunday. As usual, it will feature some of Geneva’s best-loved amateur dramatists and singers, including Sharon Dessi as Goldilocks and Martin Jennings, Sharon Gill and Christine Colliar as the Three Bears.

Be sure to book your seats early as this event is one of the most popular dates in the expat community's diary, with tickets selling out very quickly.  Numbered seats can be purchased from the www.theatreinenglish.ch website, either by credit card or bulletin-de versement/e-banking.

Tickets can also be purchased at the Swiss Post Office, using a red bulletin de versement payable to Theatre in English, 1214 Vernier CCP 12-20568-3. Don’t forget to write in the ‘motif de versement’ box the date and time of the performance and the number of tickets required, as well as your daytime phone number or email.

Alternatively you can call the theater box office weekdays on 022 341 51 92, between 11h00 and 12h30 from 25 November. Reserved tickets that remain unpaid will be released 40 minutes before the show.  It is also possible to purchase your tickets at the theatre on the night (cash only) from 60 minutes before the show (check by phone or website if seats are available).

competitionbutton1As an early Christmas present to knowitall.ch readers, GAOS have kindly donated a double ticket for the opening night performance of Goldilocks and the Three Bears on Friday, 29 November, 2013.  To give yourself a chance of winning this ticket, just fill in our competition form and let us know what happens to the bears when they are given bad honey.
